SONG

WRITING

Good songwriting isn't just the skill of creating catchy melodies or finding the perfect chords. It is the art of telling a story, arousing emotions, and conveying messages in such a way as to directly affect the listener. Together we’ll discover the elements that make your music unique.

SKETCHES

ORCHESTRA

In the “Sketches Orchestra” we’ll make music in a collective process. We will further develop your ideas, snippets or composition sketches in this band context, and face down all the challenges we might encounter on our journey to becoming a unified sound-body.

SOUND & PERCEPTION

As in politics, the body is the start of everything. Without a body, there are no possibilities to play music or create a sound. In this workshop we observe our bodies through musical gestures and try to minimize the boundaries between us and our instruments.

PRODUCING

This production workshop is all about sound. We explore how sonic qualities can shape your own piece of music and how technology can help us get the most out of our ideas without losing the creative thread.

RESIDENCE

The animation artist and filmmaker Yasaman Hasani studied painting and animation film in Tehran. Since moving to Austria, she has expanded her artistic scope through expansive settings. In this way, she tries to approach questions of identity and origin.

A SEMINAR

The INTERTONALE takes place since 2016, a seminar and festival for music, where musicians from all over Austria and other countries come to Scheibbs every year to work together and exchange ideas.

A FESTIVAL

Exclusive concerts, the DAILY CONCERTS by the workshop leaders, take place every evening. A unique atmosphere is created in the climbing hall next to the course building!

Inspired by this, you then look forward to the following obligatory jam session - DAILY SESSIONS.
